Taste of Two Towns Returns to the Oakmont Library

We’re Back – Taste of Two Towns Returns to the Oakmont Library

We’re pleased to announce this year’s Taste of Two Towns event will be held on Sunday, May 15th from 6 to 8:30 pm.  This year’s event is the 5th anniversary of Taste of Two Towns and will feature great food and drink, music, a Chinese auction and a chance to mingle with Shakespeare, Charles Dickens and Dr. Seuss.

The Oakmont Library will be transformed from lifelong learning center into a buzzing bistro featuring sample dishes from top area restaurants. Your food, drinks (wine, beer, soda, and water) and entertainment are all included in your donation of $60 per person and $40 of that donation is tax deductible. This year in particular, your participation at Taste of Two Towns is so important – funds raised will help address many repair and maintenance issues.  Once repaired, your gem of a library will be able to provide you with even more programs, materials and events that you have told us you appreciate and enjoy.

Delicious tastes will be generously provided by:  Brr…Kee’s Ice Cream, Duncan St. Dinners, Freedom Square Diner, Gia Visto, Hoffstot’s, Jimmy Wan’s, The Mighty Oak Barrel, Oakmont Barbecue Company, Oakmont Bakery, Oakmont Deli, Oakmont Tavern, Pittsburgh Thai, Rivertowne Inn, Springwood Conference Center and What’s Cookin’ at Casey’s.

To reserve your space (tickets will not be mailed), just clip and mail to:
